Dusting Off Your New Year Resolutions

January is almost gone, and as it would seem, many of us have given up on our New Years Resolutions. For alot of people, the idea of restarting a resolution now seems absurd, yet the reality is that it is only January, and definitely not too late to set things straight again.

Whether your resolution was to lose weight, or just exercise more its time to ask yourself (honestly now) what went wrong. Perhaps you did not find the right gym, or maybe your exercise equipment isn't cutting it, or maybe your Great Aunt Mable made the best ever cheese cake and you just couldn't help eating a slice or six. Whatever the reason, and whatever the resolution, a good way to get back on track is to make a list of what went wrong, and when. Once your list is complete, write next to each item what can be done to get back on track.

If you find yourself still flagging, it may be time to find some support. It isn't necessary to break the bank, or pay an expensive monthly membership in most cases. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of online support groups, most for free. Finding a supportive community can breath new life into your goals. Whatever you do though, make sure that you keep it fun, and remember that its is never to late to jump into your resolution, and make this year one that you met your goals.
